Hello!

My name is Molly and I would love you meet you and your family.

I am an experienced care giver filled with patience, compassion and creativity. I have worked as both a companion care giver and PCA (personal care aide, which I have a current certification for). I also have experience as a nanny, 1:1 school aide for elementary age children, as a day camp counselor, and dog walker/sitter.

I believe in person centered care, which revolves around the notion of preserving as much independence, dignity and input for the person receiving care, as possible. No matter what age the recipient is, they are people who deserve to be listened to and valued. Every person is different and should have care personalized for them.

I like to incorporate music, art, crochet and knitting, puzzles, reading aloud, walks, range of motion activities and maintaining a healthy diet with my care. I have experience with clients who have Alzheimer's and other conditions that fall under the blanket of dementia. I can cook basic healthy meals, clean house, run errands, care for pets and take people to appointments. I have used a hoyer lift, but do not have much experience with them. I am accustomed to transfers from bed to wheel chair, to toilet etc.

I want you to feel comfortable and safe with your loved ones in my care, so I have further references available if you want to speak with others regarding my experience. My rates start at $25/hr for basic care (companionship with light house work, med reminders) and the range would increase to $35 at most (this includes clients who need much higher levels of care- bed bound, into the progressive and terminal stages of Alzheimer's, full grooming and toileting etc.).
