I am a 28 year old young woman. Growing up I’ve always wanted to make an impact in someone’s life. I’ve always wanted to make a difference and give back to those who gave to us. Seniors are special. They are intelligent and hold much wisdom. They are gentle. They are kind. They have a story to tell & im always up for chat. I started my career in a nursing home just about 11 years ago in high school. I was an intern at a nursing home in the Park Slope area of Brooklyn. I interned for 4 years and after graduating high school, I began working part time as a Senior Care Aide. I’ve had experience with Alzheimer’s patients, physically immobile , and bedridden patients. Although some days were challenging , some days were easy. But all days were delightful, purposeful & meaningful. I enjoyed every moment in being a caregiver.
