Alexis S. Care Companion in Union, NJ 07083

Hi! my name is Alexis and I find great joy in caring and helping those of all ages. A little bit about myself, I have my B. A. In psychology and a minor in health from Kean University. I am also currently receiving my M. S. in Occupational Therapy from New York Institute of Technology . My experience spans from being a hospital messenger at Overlook medical, a physical therapy aide at Twinboro physical therapy, and a intern for my fieldwork in the psychiatric unit at Syosset medical center Northwell health. These experiences gave me first hand experience with communicating, assisting, and just talking to individuals who need a helping hand in a situation that may be very challenging. I have also volunteered with special needs children multiple times at Children's Specialized hospital as well as the Muscular Dystrophy Camp Association as a one-to-one camp counselor. As a result I feel comfortable with individuals in any environment and any age group. I understand that life requires some extra help and I am here for that!
