Hello, let me introduce myself. My name is Patty and I have 10 years of experience as a care companion. I'm compassionate, reliable, and highly attentive to my clients. Throughout the years, I have cared for very special people, all of whom are very dear to me. I have experience with hoyer lifts, bathing, dressing, grooming, and medicine management. My additional duties as a caregiver include shopping, transportation, light housekeeping, and homemaking tasks, such as laundry, changing bed linens, and planning and preparing meals. I provide assistance with moving in and out of bed and also assistance with walkers and wheelchairs. I accompany clients to doctors' offices and other trips outside of the home, providing transportation, assistance, and companionship. I entertain, converse with, and real aloud to patients to keep them mentally healthy and alert. I administer prescribed oral medications under written direction of a physician, or as directed by a home care nurse or family member. I maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, and problems, if any arise.
