I have one year experience in activities at a skilled nursing facility and 2 years caregiving experience as an uncertified CNA at an assisted living/ secure dementia unit facility. I am looking to be more of a companion. I would like to keep your loved one company while also making sure they are safe so you have piece of mind. I can do light house cleaning, walk the dog, make small meals, do small loads of laundry, grocery shopping, Doctors appointments, etc. If your loved one is mostly capable, I am happy just assisting. I am all about respect and helping your loved one maintain their dignity. I enjoy being with the elderly because there is so much to learn from them. Although I would prefer to be a companion I am open to other care options.
