Hi ! My name is Stephanie Walters and I am 26 years old from Keansburg. My past experience that I have as a care companion was during the time my grandmother was staying with us before she passed about a little over 4 years ago. I grew up very close with my grandmother and have had the best relationship with her. I would drive her to her dialysis appointments, watch her if needed throughout the night as well as change her while my mom was working over nights. Feed her, keep her company, sometimes bathe and change her if she needed help. Anything she needed I was there for her. Being that I was only in my early 20's I knew I had a huge role in helping my mom when it came to my grandmother. I knew I needed to step up and be there for her just like she was there for me.
