I have been in the health care field since I was 18 i believe working with elderly patients is my known passion not everyone is made to work in this field you have first off have patience and understanding I was a supervisor for 11 years at and assisted living and each and every resident loved me genuinely because I cared for them let alone those that just looked for a paycheck you have to learn your patience and get to know their likes and dislikes to adapt to their environment and understand how and when to approach certain situations it’s not easy when understanding how the mind of dementia patients operate you have to know what steps to take in showing that you love and care for them and that’s what I’m best at.
