Hi! My name is Daniela and I am 20 years old I just moved from Florida to the beautiful Charlotte city. My work experience has been teaching children in church, doing cleaning services or caring for pets putting into practice my knowledge as a technical veterinary, but I haven't had the opportunity to officially work caring for elderly people, the basic experience I have had, has been with my great-grandfather who suffered from senile dementia and Alzheimer's, I was with him mostly to accompany him additionally my mother worked caring for an 81-year-old woman for three years in Florida, I was there with her for a year until December 2020 and helped my mom with the care of the woman. At some times it was not easy because she suffered from dementia and was somewhat aggressive, but we always knew how to understand and have patience, these are stages that are often inevitable but are part of the cycle of life. I am 20 years old and in my opinion it is really enriching to spend time with elderly people, as their minds are full of wisdom, knowledge and wonderful stories to tell. I love serving people and I want to give what I want to receive when I need it, so I consider responsibility, respect and mostly service to be one of the qualities I have.
