I have my certificate in ECE. I worked 17 years as a Professional Childcare Site Director for the YMCA. I have 2 children and a 5 & 1 year old granddaughter. I'm a non-smoker. I have Professional experience as a Nanny. My daily duties included general care for the children, I would run errands for the family- occasional grocery shopping, taking to gymnastics, sports, doctor appointments, park, library, etc. I helped with homework, light housework, meal prep. I have several years of training that has covered every aspect of childcare. I was CPR/FIRST Aid certified for 17 years, my certification has expired.
I have an endless amount of experience and a huge heart for children. I enjoy what I do and find it to be an extremely rewarding experience. I'm totally engaging with the child/children, loving and patient. I believe that children need love and encouragement. I love exploring fun and creative ways for children to learn and grow hands-on in their early years. I will always go to extreme lengths to ensure the child's/children's needs are met. I also love animals, so pets are no problem.
I know this is all about my experience with children, but I also take care and watch my grandma often. She’s 85.
