I love being a caregiver because it allows me to offer meaningful companionship and support to seniors. I enjoy spending time with them, listening to their stories, and making sure they feel respected and cared for. It brings me joy to brighten someone’s day and help them feel less alone. I currently care for my grandmother and my elderly neighbor. I provide emotional support, companionship, help with errands, light housekeeping, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable in their homes. I’ve learned how important kindness, patience, and consistency are in this role.
