Hello, my name is Lydia, and I am a 27 year old graduate student at St. Kate's. I have experience with elder care, particularly for folks struggling with dementia. I understand the need for patience when working with older adults who may have memory challenges and need a little bit of extra compassion. I have my own transportation and valid driver's license, and I love reading aloud, playing games, and having great conversations with the folks I've cared for. I am also more than happy to help with light housekeeping, cooking, and transportation to appointments and errands. I consider myself very covid-conscious (vaccinated and boosted) and I'm happy to work within each individual's comfort levels.
