Christina R. Care Companion in Carver, MN 55315

I currently work full-time during the day as a writer and web developer, but my training and background are much more in education. (I am self-taught in web design and development/coding). I have taught English and Spanish for 22 years in both public and private schools, both here in Minnesota and out in Los Angeles. I have tutored English Writing/Test Prep, Spanish, ESL (K-12, adults, and business people). My teaching licenses for the State of Minnesota (English & Spanish) and my State of Minnesota Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate are all current. I can be found on the registries of Licensed Educators in Minnesota Department of Education and the Registered Nursing Assistants in Minnesota Department of Health.

Our triplets went off to university last fall, and I am now looking for an evening and weekend job where I will be able to do meaningful work helping others in any way that my skills would qualify me to be of use. I love spending time with children and elderly people, as well as teaching and learning from others in virtually any context. I would like to teach abroad some day and/or find ways to travel more. Travel knowledge and opportunities, learning Arabic, and brushing up on my French and German are all fun goals I have for myself this year. I would someday like to travel throughout Asia and the Mideast. I welcome “exchanges” of information and bartering skills and knowledge without payment in currency required on either side, which I believe can benefit all of us in a variety of ways.

I love dogs (and cats), but I am unfortunately allergic to dogs that she’s a lot and to cats. I am not allergic to dogs that do not shed. I can’t “do” reptiles. (Sorry! They really scare me!)
