Aacers. Lacey (October 2016) Currently I work for Aacers in Lacey Here we assist clients with various disabilities. On a typical day I would assist the clients with personal hygiene such as showering teeth brushing, drying, brushing hair etc. I also assist with meal preparation or prepare meals depending on the client's ability to do things on there own. Assist with getting medications out and making sure the right medications are given at the correct time. I also take the clients out in the community for activities such as bowling, shopping, library, and parks. In this home I am the lead staff and am responsible for all monthly paperwork setting up client appointments and taking them to client appointments during each shift I am responsible for completing all paperwork and tracking forms before the shift ends. I am also a peer coach for Aacers which means I train new staff the proper procedures and protocols.

We generally get all types of consumers, we assist with getting their behaviors under control to no behaviors and get them out of the crisis they are in.
