My life has provided me with a multitude of experiences that have built me up into an incredibly resilient and empathetic individual. When I was 6 years old, my father was diagnosed with cancer, which for the next two years, I felt dedicated to his comfort and cared for him as deeply as I could. My mother recalls me bringing him two cups and his toothbrush lined with toothpaste — one filled with water, the other empty, so he could brush his teeth by his bed.

Since these early experiences with care, I've gone on to realize my dream of competing at the World Figure Skating Championships and have represented Team USA at multiple high-level international events. I learned how to care for my physical and mental health, set/reach effective goals for myself, and was instilled with a sense of discipline by always putting my best foot forward. I coached aspiring skaters of all ages when I turned 18 to support my athletic career and full-time education at the same time, which allowed me to understand the collaborative nature of teaching and learning new ways of thinking from young, curious minds.

I am fluent in conversational Mandarin Chinese and have toured Norway in 2018 with the New England Conservatory's Youth Philharmonic Orchestra as a violinist. I'm driven by always learning more from a variety of global perspectives and have a keen eye for detail, from food to service to cleanliness.
