Hi there!

I'm a home health aide/elder caregiver with six years of experience with four fantastic clients! My primary experience so far involves work with folks dealing with Alzheimers/dementia, cancer, and MS and a range of mobility, physical and mental health, and self-care challenges as well as folks just needing some personal assistance support or companionship. I'm always down to participate in outings (or plan some fun things to do) and to provide transportation to appointments and other activities. I have experience with overnight care as well as typical day-time help. It is such an honor and joy for me to work with individuals and families to make sure your quality of life is as excellent as possible! Regardless of what challenges and trials you may be facing, you deserve care that makes life as fun, healthy, comfortable, love-filled, and safe as possible. Even as clients have progressed into more advanced stages of illness, I've continued to take them on outings (as desired), whether to the mall for a quick walk around on cold days or the beach, local concerts, etc.). Even if sometimes such activities can't be longterm memories (for those struggling with memory loss), they still bring joy and connection--totally worth it! Depending on clients' interests and needs, I've done a wide range of activities with them, from coloring and craft projects to reading aloud to chair exercises for mobility maintenance and listening to their favorite music from younger years. Physically, I am pretty strong and able to routinely lift or carry two of my past clients who were dealing with progressed stages of muscle-memory forgetfulness, so no worries if you need mobility assistance! I cook for clients and am comfortable and used to accommodating a wide range of dietary needs and food allergies/sensitivities. I'm also comfortable and familiar with the practical side of things--medication management, bathroom and hygiene assistance, assisted showers and dressing, etc. If you think I could be a good fit for your needs, I would love to chat!
