Hello! My name is Brittaney and I have been a Personal Care Aide since 2015. I have been fortunate enough to work with very lovely people of all ages and backgrounds, with physical and cognitive disabilities, along with elder care. Along with that, I work as a Behavioral Technician helping kids and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This also includes kiddos with certain behavioral concerns too.
I have experience doing ADL’s, transfers for those with limited mobility, cooking (including diabetic meals & other dietary needs), tube feeding, bathroom assistance, grooming and general hygiene, house cleaning, transportation , checking blood sugar, and more! And the thing I consider to be one of the most significant aspects in this field is companionship! Building a trusting relationship with your, or your loved one’s, caregiver cannot be understated . You’ll need someone honest, reliable, competent and compassionate. I believe I have all those qualities and more! That is why I love working in healthcare and helping others.
