Hi, I'm Marcia, 54 years young and mom of 12 and grandma of 8! About 5 years ago I began volunteering at the Holden Rehabilitation and Skilled nursing Canter. Our church has a team that comes to pray the rosary, lead a communion service, and deliver flowers to resident rooms and visit with the residents. I discovered that I'm a natural "people person" and I really really enjoy the elderly! They are so sweet and full of spunk and wisdom! I also coordinate a women's group at church called the "Soul Sisters", planning get-togethers, speakers, and sometimes trips for the ladies. Most of the gals are 65+. They're great -- we have so much fun! So if you have an elderly relative who needs companionship and help around the house or to get out and do errands, I'm your helper!
