Hi,
My name is Joan and I live in Beverly. I have worked in a nursing home and in an assisted living facility conducting activities. I have many years (15+) of experience as a Certified PCA Caregiver caring for senior citizens. This includes providing companionship, personal care, toileting, medication administration, etc. and also have experience working with disabled adults I currently work part-time during the week as a nanny and am mostly interested in working occasional mornings or weekends. I am a nonsmoker, have no pet allergies and love animals. I look forward to hearing from you.

Joan is fantastic. Our little one bonded with her quickly, and looks forward to seeing Joan every week. She is easygoing, patient, reliable, and experienced. We are first time parents and Joan has given us great tips and tricks, and she has recommended some fantastic local places to take our little one. Joan is a dedicated caregiver and anyone would be lucky to have her in their child's life.
My wife & I had Joan care for our 1st baby boy from the age of 10 months to 2 years old. She was fantastic and the two developed a close bond. He's 4 years old now and still remembers her! Joan was extremely reliable, very easy-going & flexible, and an absolute pleasure to have around our young family. We also had (and still have) a very large, stubborn American bulldog and Joan was more than accommodating with our having a pet around a very active toddler. Once things started to open back up - post-pandemic - it was time for our son to move onto a more classroom-like daycare setting. But, as first-time parents navigating those early months/years of raising a child, we are forever grateful to have the professional help of Joan and would be thrilled to recommend her again & again!
Our children immediately warmed to Joan. She is a calming presence in our home and flexible to the needs of our family.
Joan values open communication and is receptive.
Joan is a winner in my book! Both times I called her to sit for my son (under 1 as of this review) she was right on time and super patient the first round some he takes a session or two to get used to a person. We now have her per diem and she's been a lifesaver!
