I have been working in this field for over 4 years, I began my career as a Activity Assistant, then promoted to Activity Director, but I was drawn to the world of senior care after seeing the struggles many older adults face in managing their health and well-being. I then went on to study on my own time, and became hands on with my Residents. I was then promoted to Resident Care Director.

My experience as a Senior Care Manager has been incredibly rewarding, but also comes with its challenges. One of the main challenges I have faced is helping families navigate the emotional and financial aspects of caring for an aging loved one. Many families are not prepared for the physical and emotional toll that caregiving can take, and my role is to guide you through this difficult time.

One of my primary responsibilities is to conduct comprehensive assessments of my clients' needs. This includes evaluating their physical, emotional, and cognitive health, as well as their living arrangements and support network. Based on this assessment, i work with the client and their family to develop a personalized care plan that addresses all their needs and preferences.

Once the care plan is in place, I then help coordinate and manage all aspects of care for my clients. This includes scheduling medical appointments, communicating with healthcare providers, and ensuring medication management. I also assists with daily living tasks, such as meal planning and transportation, assistance with all ADL’s , housekeeping, errands, and I sure know how to cook!
