Hello! I live in Valparaiso and I have 4 children of my own: 2 teens and 2 toddlers! I’m looking to leave my current job where I oversee operations at a child care center and build up to my own business supporting families like yours.

My very first job was working at a nursing home where it was my job to assist the aides with tasks such as filling water cups, assisting with meals and activities, and offering companionship to the residents. I started caring for children right out of high school, where I worked in a home child care for several years. Following, I provided direct care to adults with disabilities and then did ABA therapy with children who had autism. I built my career around social services, working with adults who have developmental disabilities, but I am looking for more flexibility in my schedule. I have a bachelors degree in behavioral sciences, having studied behavior, psychology, counseling, and child development. I’ve also completed hours of independent study on child rearing. I’m very passionate about human rights and treating everyone with dignity and respect.

I have my own reliable vehicle which I can use for transportation. I am certified in first aid and CPR. And I’m flexible to meet your families needs.
