I have been in the healthcare field for over 20 years in various capacities. I have been a CNA, Home Health Aid, Mental Health Counselor, Addiction Counselor, Mental Health Worker and Currently a Registered Medical Assistant. I have an Associates for Medical Assistant Certification, I have a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology with a minor in Counseling Psychology and a Master's in Addictions Studies. I have chose the field of healthcare because of the name Healthcare I care about people and their health and I get to help. While I was a CNA years ago I worked with the elderly I would get a history lesson daily, lessons you can never get from a book, learned if you live long enough you will see, hear learn something new every day. this is what I get out of being a companion I get life lessons and new family members as well.
