Since I was in the first grade I had always wanted to be a math teacher. Although for a very long time I decided that I didn't want to study for an education degree because of the pressure my family was putting on me to become a doctor or a lawyer. However, a couple years later, and now I am a senior in high school and I am in the progress of applying for collages. I have realized that the only one to decide for who I am is me. I want to study education, and this is the career for me not only because I really like math but also because of my connection to kids. I love taking care of kids. As a kid myself, I have had a lot of great teacher that have inspire me to be like them.
I am an active community member
of Bloom Trail. I am in a variety of clubs and leadership positions including: Chem Club, Theater
(incharge of the costumes), Mock Trial, Mathletes, the Breakfast Club, Student Ambassadors, NHS, Key
club, Junior Board, Student Council, Skills USA (President) and most recently, Crew Leaders. The things
I do are also far beyond my school and community. I have also assisted class at Interlochen Center for the
Arts at Michigan for fashion design for two years consecutively with a full ride scholarship. It goes as far
as being recommended for a job as a fashion designer assistant at Interlochen this upcoming summer. I also am cpr certified and have a couple brothers myself.
