My name is Penny and I have been in childcare almost off and on for 30 years.. In my teen years I worked with the elderly. Would go to their home and help them clean and cook and talk with them.. I was a medical assistant in my early twenties at the Medical School in Des Moines Iowa... I have always taken care of children that is one of my passions.. I have done it for the last 28 years... When my grandmother went to the nursing home I would go back and forth to Iowa to stay with her in the nursing home... I noticed so many people that didn't have anyone there to be with them. Or when I would go to the store I see elderly people sitting on a bench or looking lost ...my heart goes to them.. When my grandmother died I told myself that I needed to change my career.. My husband is a physician and is always telling me that there's so many elderly people that need help..
