I worked with my step-mother who had Alzheimer's. I helped getting her in and out of the car. I took her to doctor appointments, hair appointments, grocery shopping, pharmacy pick-ups and other errands.

It was very rewarding to know how much I contributed to her life. I know it helped keep her more social and feel better about herself. Additionally I realized how much a relief I was providing for my Father who was the primary care giver.

Sadly she has passed now, but I learned a great deal about care giving and life in general while helping her.

Additionally I have been tutoring since 2008. In addition to my tutoring experience I also, work for three years as a nanny for a family. This includes taxi driver, laundress, dog walker and light housekeeper. I do pickups and drop-offs to school and other after school events. This also includes Dry cleaner drop offs. Pick-ups from the airport, pet sitting, dog walking, cat care etc.

I am a graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana. Currently I work both as a tutor and as a nanny.
