I cared for my 102 year old grandmother and enjoyed the beauty of her sunset years. Our elderly have given us so much and we should honor them and treat them with dignity and respect. They often have words of wisdom to share, but many times we learn grace for the journey.

I am very much into wellness and believe that a healthy diet and exercise is healing. Saying "I love people" is such a cliche, but I have rarely met someone that I couldn't find something to admire. I love chatting and am always interested in learning something new.

I am married (30 years!) with two young adults, both in college, who are all awesome humans. I am currently a substitute teacher and enjoy creating fun learning experiences for the children. I have previously been certified in CPR and plan to re-certify in the near future. I have tutored children as well as trained over 1000 Chicago Public school teachers in delivering engaging after school programs to students. My career goal is to develop a digital business model.
