Hello, I am a male caregiver who is upbeat, empathetic, works with men or women. I've been listed on Care. com as in the top 10% of local caregivers. My current client has early dementia. She is forgetful and can panic at times. Unlike some young caregivers, I am a 50-something person with a young spirit who is dependable & stays for the long haul! Some female clients are more comfortable knowing I'm a gay man.

When my mother had a stroke, she never spoke to me again as she fell into a coma. At the nursing center, I would talk with her in hope that she could hear me. Also I have worked in an office with blind senior clients. I helped them with computer work, read to them, gave encouragement. I love to write novels and to be kind to others.
