Hi! My name is Dani Edmonds, and I’m passionate about being a care companion. I have extensive experience working with geriatric patients, both in-home and in senior living facilities. My background includes serving residents in memory care, specifically working with individuals affected by dementia and Alzheimer’s. I managed daily tasks such as feeding, housekeeping, CNA duties, and making sure they participated in stimulating activities to keep their minds active.

During my internship with the Red Cross of Spain, I worked with older patients, engaging them in memory-strengthening exercises such as walks in the park and games designed to boost their cognitive abilities. This hands-on experience taught me the importance of being present during a critical stage of life.

I chose this field because I believe it’s essential to offer the highest level of care and attention to individuals as they age. It’s often forgotten that as we grow older, we need a similar level of support as in early childhood. Being there for people in those moments is incredibly humbling, and I feel honored to serve in such a meaningful way.

I’m known for my upbeat, bubbly personality, which not only helps brighten up the day but also keeps those I care for feeling youthful. I’m compassionate and have a natural ability to connect with people, which allows me to provide not just physical care, but emotional support as well. I look forward to the opportunity to make a positive impact as a care companion!
