I was in the care/service industry, for around a year(I had a profile on care.com…reviews may still be available on that site), as a housekeeper/house manager. During that time, a couple of my clients were seniors, so I would go outside of the typical housekeeping duties to assist them with other things they needed, including running errands or just taking them to lunch. I transitioned out of that role, but still wanted to be in the service industry. I ended up being a 911 dispatcher, where I received my CPR certification. I've since left that job, but still have a passion to bring assistance, love and light to people, which is the reason I’m looking to re-enter the care industry as a care companion. I will also provide light cleaning, organization, cooking, and laundry, as well as running errands, but will not transport unless there’s an emergency. I also don’t provide pet care services.
