Hello,
My name is Yvette. I am originally from Philadelphia but have living in the Atlanta area for over 22 years. I am also a home owner and pet parent of two miniature schnauzers.
I have two adult children both college graduates. I'm also a widow, my late husband was killed in Afghanistan back in 2012. I love people and I give back to the community. I started a nonprofit in honor of my late husband where I give back to homeless veterans. I also was a teacher in children's church for 10 years.
I cared for my late father for 3 years before he passed away last April. What an experience that has been caring for a loved one but more importantly being a hands-on advocate for his care. That experience was very rewarding despite all of the time it took to ensure he was never mistreated or abused. For that reason I understand how families need a person who are there eyes and ears in the most vulnerable circumstances.
