My family and I have been living in Cobb County for over 20 years. Over the past two decades I have had the privilege of caring for infants to the elderly and special needs children as well. As a CNA I had the opportunity to work in nursing homes, hospitals settings and private duty in-home and overnight care. During the past 15 years I have worked at an elementary school as a paraprofessional with special needs children. Being a Parent and long-term care provider I am acutely aware of the vital importance in trusting your caregiver. As a certified nursing assistant working at a nursing home. I was responsible for total patient care which included bathing and clothing. Feeding, taking vitals and charting daily. Transporting in and out of wheelchairs and transporting them to daily activities. As a paraprofessional in an elementary school working with special needs children our first priority as in any given health care profession is safety. My responsibilities consisted of transporting children from buses to classrooms. Severe special needs required total care including feeding, changing, and transportation Some children Required tube feeding. I. have also had the opportunity to work privately in home, overnight and weekends caring for special needs children also requiring complete care. I honestly pride myself on the compassion I feel and the excellent care I have given to every individual Intrusted to me over the years. I have been honored to meet so many wonderful families.I consider myself to be an honest trustworthy dedicated, caring, responsible and dependable caregiver.
