Why do you love being a caregiver?

I love being a caregiver because it allows me to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others. Helping elderly individuals maintain their dignity and independence brings me immense fulfillment. I find joy in building relationships with my clients and supporting them through their daily challenges.

What experience do you have?

I have a solid background in caregiving, having worked as a care guide in a companionship program with Cigna Healthcare, where I provided support and companionship to elderly clients. My internship at a nursing home (Signature healthcare of buckhead) gave me hands-on experience in assisting with daily living activities and understanding the unique needs of aging adults.

What skills and training do you have?

I hold a license in social work, which has equipped me with valuable skills in communication, empathy, and problem-solving. My training includes crisis intervention and understanding the emotional and psychological aspects of aging. I am also trained in recognizing and addressing the specific needs of elderly clients, ensuring they receive compassionate and personalized care.
