Hello! Allow me to share a bit about myself. I am a dedicated mother raising two sets of twins, aged 21 and 20. Among my wonderful children, two have autism, and two experience auditory processing disorder. During their early years, I actively contributed to the school system by volunteering and actively participated in a special needs group, where I engaged with various age groups.
My commitment to nurturing extends beyond the school environment. I served as the head teacher in the nursery at our previous church and dedicated several years to volunteering with their vacation bible school. Additionally, I formed a lasting connection with my previous nanny family, supporting and caring for them for over a year. When I began, their children were 4 months and 2 1/2 years old.
In terms of professional experience, I have a background in home health care, providing compassionate care to both elderly individuals and those with special needs. My expertise extends to working in group home and private home settings. I am proud to hold certifications in CPR/First Aid, Crisis Prevention Intervention, Medication Proxy, and Water Safety for Parents and Caregivers. I have also completed The Big Little Feelings course.
My passion lies in the well-being and development of children and individuals who require additional support. I bring a wealth of experience, genuine care, and a commitment to creating a nurturing environment for those in my care.
