All about ME!
Hey there! My name is Donesha Cooper but my favorite kiddo called me “D”. I attended Florida Gulf Coast University, where I earned my Bachelors in Communication and a minor in Gender Studies, Go EAGLES! If you haven’t already guessed it, from my personality I have the honor of holding the middle child title between two sisters. My love for children started when I wished for a baby brother on the top of my Christmas list for years.
I love drawing, sunflowers, turtles, shopping, and spending time with my family. I can honestly say that taking care of loved ones is second nature to me. My family opened a home daycare over 20 years ago, and I have been working with kids since. I have experience with children of all ages, from home settings to the school settings, and in between. My latest career path led me to manage the front office of a local charter school grades K-8th. I've also had the honor of helping out our more mature loved ones as a home health aide. Fun Fact, I worked with the past Secretary of Defense, Mr. Melvin Laird for a year. My job included preparing meals, assistance with transportation, and moving around with help. Although I wore many hats, being a mother to them all was the best one. I love helping those in need, because it allows the families to find peace knowing someone they can trust is with their loved one.
