Shannon has stayed with my child twice now and we both like her very much. She's been flexible with schedules and on time. We look forward to working with Shannon even more!

Over Thanksgiving weekend, Shannon watched our 7(!) cats who range from super-friendly to semi-feral. Her cat herding skills met with great success and we returned home to a happy bunch. I'd highly recommend her - she's a great gal and I'm sure we'll have her cat sit again.

Shannon has only babysat for our family once so far, but she really helped make our first time leaving our son with a sitter as stress-free as possible. She was exactly on time and even called to let us know she was on her way. She was very sweet and quiet, and our son immediately liked her. She gave him space to come to her, and so he was put at ease and was accepting of her in our space.

We put our son to bed before we left. However, he is the type who wakes up if he senses something is up or is upset, so I know by the fact that he slept the entire time we were out that he thought Shannon was "good people". While we were out, she responded immediately to my texts with status updates.

We also have a very old, somewhat fragile great dane, and Shannon was also gentle and sweet to the dog. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Shannon to sit for the dog, either.

Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I look forward to working with Shannon again in the near future.

Shannon was the first person who contacted me about a sitting job that I posted and I liked her immediately. She has a great personality that fits well with young kids. I had my 2 daughters and a friend's 2 daughters who are all 7 years old and younger for her to sit for the first time so we could go out on a double date and they loved her! In fact, they asked if she could come back and babysit for them again. She's not the kind of sitter who just sits on the couch and doesn't do anything with the kids either. I would definitely recommend her to our friends.

Shannon house sat for me the week following Thanksgiving. She stayed overnight at our house taking care of the animals. This is the first time we ever had someone do that, so I was nervous, but Shannon was great and put my mind at ease. She did a wonderful job taking care of of our two dogs (one who is 12 1/2 and a bit needy) and one cat. They were happy and healthy when we got back.
Shannon also cleaned around the house, including some organizing and cleaning the refrigerator. We will definitely use Shannon again!

Shannon came through for us at the last minute and was happy to take on a long 8-hour assignment. She called to say she was on her way and arrived early. She was good with the kids and seemed to relate to little boys well. Our boys said they had a good time with Shannon and they want her to come back soon.

Shannon has been a great help to our family (2.5 year old, 2 month old, and two big dogs). She's been very responsive and responsible and we can tell that she really cares about the kids. We are very glad to have found her!
