Ramata’s Bio
Reliable, service-oriented nursing professional with excellent customer service, patient care and record keeping skills gained through several years of experience and multi-tasking skills. Compassionate and technically competent to care for patients in a variety of health care settings. BLS and CPR certified. Provide basic care to patients and assist them with daily activities with which they may have difficulty, such as bathing. Due to the personal nature of the job, it is important to be compassionate and enjoy helping others. I have been a certified nursing assistant for 10 years.
While continuing my nursing education and experience in my previous positions, I learned to create a lighter environment for patients by having a positive and honest attitude at work. I bring many different skills to the work environment that can be valuable to both patients and their peers. In my previous roles as a CNA, I specialized in infection control in high-risk patients and also helped with medications, maintain rooms, and organize aseptic procedures. I work well with others, communicating quickly and clearly during procedures. I help ensure patient safety and comfort by: Maintain a sterile room, work environment and utensils at all times.
Monitor who enters and leaves the room to maintain high health standards.
Prepare patients for procedures by discussing the processes with them and answering their questions. Speak with family members when they enter the facility to fully explain the medical condition and treatment details.
In the past, I participated in the training of other CNA after working in the hospital for quite a long time. I believe that with my experience helping patients, I can be an excellent home health aide. I look forward to hearing from you about this wonderful opportunity.
