I love being a caregiver because it allows me to take care of someone other than myself with a purpose. The experiences that I have and caregiving starts with my grandmother and years ago when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and dementia, well a few years ago my mom got sick and I had to move to Georgia to take care of her she was diagnosed with COPD and heart condition I condition and many other things I became her caregiver to take care of her to take her to appointments and administer medicine. All about 2 years ago my uncle was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer I was his caregiver and power of attorney I had to fly down to Florida to take care of him until his last days.
I have CPR training and first aid training and those are my professional trainings but I also have personal training by administering the assistance that I have been a ministering.
