As a caregiver I help patients by providing housekeeping and laundry services, shopping and other household requirements, prepare and serve meals and run errands. Assists patients by providing personal services, such as, bathing, dressing, and grooming. Reasoning of me becoming a caregiver was because I enjoy providing help of those who need it , keeping people in good spirits ,developing new skills to give better support , as well as knowing I made a difference in someone’s life.I’m good at my job because not only am I just working because I have to but because I want to, I’m actually taking into consideration of how my client feels making sure I’m patient and kind , use good communication skills with both client and family so that everyone could be on one accord , being respectful of being in their home as well as to them , overall putting my client before myself so that they are in good hands at all times.
