I became a caregiver because I love children. Children often misunderstood that's another reason why I chose that path. I want to provide a safe haven for kids. Someone that wants to understand them and take the time with them. Children need lots of attention and need someone who is very patient. Some would say children are very easy & complex at the same time so they need somebody with an open mind. As someone that works with kids you need to have an open mind because you will be working with different children from different backgrounds. Having an open mind helps to care for the children as an individual. I love what I do because I love the result that it brings to a family. I started in this business when I was very young and wasn't even getting paid for it yet. Especially dealing with kids that can't talk is very high demand and that specifically requires a high amount of love & attention, and I want nothing but to bring joy to their little hearts. I take pride in my work and really do it with all of myself and this is why I ask for the rate I ask for. I want to give myself to where I am needed, but at the same time we all know we have to make a living.
