Hello, my name is Christal! I have had a passion for working with children since I was young. As an adolescent and teenager I worked at an in home daycare. Upon my graduation from high school, I served as a camp counselor for ages 4-6 &10-16. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Community Counseling. Over the last few years, I worked as an Autism Technician and a Infant Mental Health Therapist in which I implemented activities to increase fine/gross motor, social, play, academic and coping skills. It give me such pleasure to provide guidance, empathy, knowledge and compassion to children as well as parents. I have experience providing support to children who exhibit sensory sensitivity, challenging behavior and emotional disturbances. I will also provide transportation to extracurricular and recreational activities. I currently work as a Behavior Therapist at a pediatric clinic and we serve kids with developmental disabilities.
