Hey, I'm Judlande, better known as Jude. I was born in Haiti and raised in the Bahamas. Besides being kind, compassionate, and caring, I also have a good sense of humor. I have always been involved in caregiving as the eldest of my three siblings. The two things I enjoy most are cooking and listening to music. I live in Winter Park and work at Advent Health during the day. My prior work experience includes working in an assisted living facility in Orlando. I also worked as a live-in sitter in Miami for an elderly adult with brain cancer and a young adult with disabilities due to MVA. While living in Orlando, I took on the role of childcare for two toddlers whom I admired a lot for keeping me on my toes. As a member of the New Hope SDA church, I am the assistant youth director and am involved in numerous youth outreach activities. So far, I have worked with all age groups and special needs children and adults. I find such joy in being a positive mentor in a child's life. I'm looking forward to finding the next family I'll work with long-term in the evenings. I’m also looking forward to accomplishing my goal of being a pediatric nurse.
