I am a healthy, hard working, responsible, young at heart, animal lover and positive seventy-eight year old with a lot of energy and an excellent driving record looking for a part-time position. I have honestly loved working all of my life.. I finally considered myself ‘retired’ in September and have enjoyed catching up on some activities. As enjoyable as that has bern, I miss working.. I have had several jobs in my lifetime and have been lucky enough to have loved all of them ..but my favorite has always been caregiving. I moved here from the Chicago area. I grew up on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I’m renting in West Palm Beach for at least five months to see if I want to permanently live here.

I am listing some of my previous work experience: (Of course, babysitting, waitressing, cottage cleaning and cashiering throughout my high school years growing up in a tourist community including house-and pet-sitting in later years).

I have been a Human Resources receptionist manager for a financial institution, a VISTA volunteer in an Inuit village, a day manager at an eleven cottage Texan complex, a medical secretary for a general and vascular surgeon and an employee in the activities department of an assisted living facility. I recently returned to the Chicago area where my sons live after caring for my sister and my nephew who were ill. I came to Florida at the suggestion of my daughter-in-law’s ninety year young grandmother who has her son living with her in the Lantana area. She no longer can drive. We get along like sisters and it’s my pleasure to help her occasionally get out socially, shop, go to appointments, etc. i would love to have an opportunity to interview with your company. You ask what my request is for compensation. I will certainly accept your ‘going rate’, should my answer to your previously asked questions not conform to yours. I will be getting re-certified in CPR. Of course I am happy to answer any questions. Judy
