Part-time position either editing or proof-reading. Also looking for part-time work as companion/helper for someone homebound. Have experience with each.

Seeking: To be a part-time companion to a person in their own home. Experienced - last 3 years living with an 84 yr. old man (now he is 87). Cook meals daily – light housekeeping & laundry as needed – help with getting dressed and lighthearted banter. Enjoy playing cards or games.

I love to sing, so I sing all the old songs a senior citizen would be familiar with and am computer literate (have taught computers in the past & sell currently on eBay). I can help with sending email, accessing websites, or do they need someone to proof something already written for grammar or spelling? I was an editor for an online national newspaper.

I would make a great companion if someone were looking for that. The other things would have to be paced and go at a relaxed rate. Have my own car for transportation. For now, I can work afternoons or mornings as I am still doing care giving for my 87-year-old friend. English is my only language.

No lifting or helping with transfer…. More of a companion than an aide.
