Please do not let my chronological age fool you. I am a very active and quite capable senior citizen, who successfully raised and educated (Master's degrees) two sons and helped raise my niece. I am a practical nurse who retired from nursing in 1993. My husband was an Obstetrician and Gynecologist prior to his untimely death, and we delivered babies together. How sweet is that? Babies have been my business and pleasure for most of my adult life. However, prior to her death in 2006, I cared for my mother for 3 years. I am CPR certified (adult, child and infant) and possess a clean Level II background screen. I am longing to be an answer to someone's prayer who is in need of a sitter/nanny, caregiver, or just a companion. I possess a passion for life and compassion for my fellow man, woman and child. I have been the nursery attendant every Sunday morning for a church in Palm City (4 years). I am a christian! My current employers job was downsized, and she has decided to be a "stay-at-home-mom" for her precious daughter. I pretty much know every child's park and playground in Martin/St. Lucie Counties. I truly enjoy reading to others, love music, games and animals (I have 3 of my own).
