Hello! My name is Khiarra, I'm 43 and married to my husband of 25 years. We have 3 adult daughters, and we recently relocated to Cape Coral from Washington DC.
While a lot of my experience as a provider has been focused on infants and children, I have been caring for my 23 year old daughter while she battled a rare form of leukemia. She's now in remission after a 2nd bone marrow transplant over the holidays. During that time I learned how to perform basic and specialized home care procedures including BP checks, Blood glucose level checks, GI tube care and cleaning, PICC line care and cleaning, medication administration, bathing & hygiene, occupational therapy, and detailed notations to share with healthcare providers.
I was born and raised in Italy, before relocating to the US in 2001 and graduating from University of Maryland with a Masters in Applied Mathematics in 2006. I enjoy reading, board games, arts and crafts and cooking Italian food 😊
I consider myself a socially oriented person, and it's my goal to improve the quality of care of the people in my community.

Khiarra worked for my family for over two years helping me with my son and then daughter. She’s very reliable, knowledgeable and caring. She followed my instructions, but also tactfully offered advice for me , a first-time mom, that was super helpful. My kids still talk about Kiki and all the fun that they had with her. She’s amazing and became a family friend for us.
