I worked for my family taking care of 2 elderly people full-time for 5 years. Taking care of the elderly is a privilege. People who were once vital and are now dependent require compassion and understanding, and I take pride in having those qualities. I get along well with older people all my life since I have old fashioned values and behavior.

The experience I have helping the elderly includes meal preparation and feeding, driving them to doctors appointments, and doing errands for them, having meaningful conversations, and doing recreational activities, taking care of their pets, helping them with grooming, nutritional care and dressing them. I also do laundry and light house cleaning. I also give medications. I am precise, accurate and vigilant when I dispense medications. For many year I worked as a chemical engineer and computer network engineer, but helping people is most important to me now. I volunteer as a Technician once a week installing filters on cell phones, personal computers and other devices.

I don't smoke and I am very clean and courteous. I also am a safe driver.
