~ Went out for walks either for errands or just to enjoy the day.
~ Laid out medications according to schedule.

I had the pleasure and honor to take care of my 89 year old grandmother for two years. I learn so many things from her as a person, a woman and mother of two girls. Unfortunately she had an accident injuring her head and back. When i heard that my mother's work schedule changed I wanted to be the one to help attend to my grandmother's needs and wants. It was one of the best experience because not only did I have the opportunity to bond with my grandmother, I enjoy taking care of others besides myself.
Since I was young, I had always wanted to be a nurse because I like taking care of other people. I was blessed with three wonderful children and had to put my college education to the side. Yet I pursed to at least finish the basics in the medical field. I received my certification as a Medical Assistant in 2002, a certification in Foster Care in 2006, and I recertify yearly my CPR and First Aid certificate.
I plan to follow my hearts desire to go back to school in the fall of 2015 to finish my nursing program.
