Hi, I come from a very large family so I have always loved being around people. I graduated college with a BA in Art Education. I am outgoing and love to talk and meet new people. In my free time I love to be outdoors any chance I get, art, drawing, reading, baking, cooking, music and being around people that like to have fun and hang out.
I have worked in a home for elderly nuns mostly in the kitchen but also helping them at dinner. I have been a special needs aide to 2 children in grade school. I have worked in a day program for mild to severely handicapped adults. I have cared for the elderly in their homes as well as family members and my dad who had strokes and Parkinson's. While at these jobs I have had experience: with doing light household chores, running errands, driving to appointments, medication reminders and administering medication, mobility assistance with and without a walker and wheelchair, showering, getting dressed, changing diapers, hair styling ,preparing meals and feeding, making sure they are comfortable and just being there as a companion to talk and listen. I will do my best to make sure you or your loved one is as well cared for as I have done for my family members and my dear dad. I have been CPR and First Aid Certified. I can renew that if desired. I plan to do it again but first I need income so I can take the class. I am not a smoker. I also have my covid shots. I look forward to meeting you and your family!
