I have cared for an elderly neighbor for about 10 years. I would go to her home and be a companion for her. I would take her grocery shopping and run errands for her. When she moved in with her daughter, I would drive 20 minutes, pick her up and bring her to my home for the day. I would fix her a snack, make her lunch, read to her, and assist her in her daily activities. I have great empathy and compassion for elderly individuals.
