I have lived in the Woodbury/Southbury area my entire life. I have two boys 21 and 16 years old and reside near the Heritage Village area. Now that my boys are older I have some extra time and am looking to find a companion job in the Southbury area. I do work full time in Milford--therefore I am available only on the weekends and at night--occasionally could assist during the day as needed. I love seniors and have a lot of patience to assist with any tasks needed. While I don't have any specific certification I have worked alongside my mother who is also a senior and her career was a nurse caring for seniors. I learned from her the importance of taking care of our aging population while also appreciating how much we can learn from them. I am comfortable with basic tasks such as helping to organize, provide companionship, light housekeeping, laundry, driving, grocery shopping, etc. I am flexible, easy going and easy to get along with.
