Hello Families! I am a Professional Nanny who has been caretaking for infants and young children for nearly three decades. I am looking for my next career challenge. In being authentic to my nurturing nature, I would like to stay within the caretaking field. As my own Mother’s Alzheimer’s disease progresses and I understand more and more deeply the need for compassionate and reliable care, I am drawn to elder and special needs care. Although I don’t have official experience in this area, I feel strongly that the education and skills I have developed and practiced in both my personal and professional work are easily transferable and a strong foundation for learning more about the unique needs of the individuals and families I will work with in this new capacity.
